Funerals & Celebrations of Life

Honouring a loved one is deeply personal, and every family approaches this time differently. Whether you are planning a traditional funeral service or a more relaxed celebration of life, I offer thoughtful guidance and support to help create a ceremony that feels meaningful and authentic.

While a funeral is often held shortly after a passing and may follow a more traditional structure, a celebration of life or living funeral can offer greater flexibility in timing, location, and format, allowing family and friends to gather in a way that feels natural and personal.

Whatever you decide, together, we can create a ceremony that reflects the life, values, and memory of your person with warmth, care, and intention.

Funeral Ceremonies:

This service is suited to families wanting a guided and structured ceremony in collaboration with a funeral home.

Talk to your local funeral home about using my services or Get in touch to have a consultation or quote (link to email and or number inserted or beside)

I work alongside local funeral directors and families to create, support or lead personalised funeral ceremonies with care and professionalism.

From our initial meeting either in person or via Zoom, I assist with ceremony planning, readings and meaningful rituals, before preparing and delivering the ceremony on the day.

Cost for Funeral home based celebrancy are included in funeral home fees

Celebration of Life Ceremonies:

A Celebration of Life offers a more flexible alternative to a traditional funeral. These gatherings often take place some time after your person's passing and held in meaningful locations such as a family home, favourite venue, by the ocean, or in nature.

Together, we can create a ceremony that feels relaxed yet intentional, incorporating stories, music, reflection, rituals, and shared moments of connection.

This option allows family and friends the time and space to honour their person in a way that feels unhurried, authentic and  personal.

This type of celebration can include having the ashes present or an ashes scattering.
